Why join the NRC?

Because NRC supports excellence in paddling. Because NRC is a 501(C)(3) located in rural Western North Carolina, and we're offering our children a fun, healthy, beautiful alternative. Because we're keeping kids out of trouble. Because it takes a village. Because slalom is an Olympic sport. Because freestyle is trying to get there. Because NRC offers a community of friendly, fun-lovin' folks, waiting for you to join them on your paddling adventure. Because no one is too old to improve their paddling. Because paddling is one of the only sports where the best in the world still take the time to teach the youngsters. Because rivers are good for the soul. Because we need your support!

Join the Club!

Nantahala Racing Club welcomes all new members, whether they are athletes, parents, recreational paddlers, etc. To become a member of the club, simply fill out a membership form and waiver and send it to the the following address:
